Trade Marketing Manager - FMCG

Job description

Our client is a well-established FMCG company with a strong portfolio of brands and ambitious growth plans. They are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to drive execution excellence and commercial impact across General Trade channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to accelerate growth in General Trade channels.
  • Design and implement channel-specific promotions, trade programs, and POSM initiatives to drive sell-in and sell-out
  • Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure strong in-market execution and alignment with business objectives
  • Manage trade investment planning, ROI analysis, and post-promotion evaluations
  • Lead the deployment of visibility and merchandising standards across outlets
  • Analyse market data, shopper insights, and competitive activity to refine trade strategies
  • Work with distributors to improve coverage, availability, and execution quality
  • Support new product launches through effective GT go-to-market strategies


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing within FMCG industry
  • Strong hands-on experience managing General Trade channels
  • Proven track record of designing and executing effective trade programs
  • Solid understanding of route-to-market, distributor management, and GT dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
  • Highly collaborative, commercially minded, and execution-focused
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
