Team Head - Data Analytics & Modelling (bancassurance)

The Company

It is a 1st-tier retail and corporate bank in Hong Kong.

They are looking for a Senior Manager-grade candidate in Data Analytics for bancassurance products in their business banking.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to Head of Data Analytics and manage a team of 3 data analysts
• Lead the team to deliver big data analytics and data visualization solutions to give business insights
• Perform data analysis, data modelling & process automation
• Use modeling techniques (business processes, data, events), to discover and clarify the functional and data requirements
• Develop advanced Data Analytics/ Machine Learning-based solutions to uplift effectiveness of analytics and modelling
• Develop best practices of insurance digital data analytics capability and unleash business value from the data captured in campaigns/ services/ claims history

Requirements

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other related discipline
• At least 10 years of work experience in analytics, modelling and machine learning in a sizable company
• Solid knowledge of insurance product / bancassurance is an advantage
• Technically proficient in R/Python, and SAS
• Proven experience of data mining of massive volume data for quick insight discovery
• Excellent project management skill and strong communication skills
• Excellent command of Chinese and English
