System Analyst - Banking (45-65k; Permanent)

My client is a leading regional banking institution with its office in Hong Kong Island, expanding its business in Hong Kong with new permanent headcount of hands-on Java developer OR system analyst.

Responsibilities

• Perform application development using Java/J2EE technologies
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional code
• Participate in the entire software development life-cycle, from design to deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate), and related technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good understanding of software design patterns and best practices
• Experience in developing web applications and working with relational databases
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
