Job description

Our client is an international trading company and they are now seeking a Sourcing Assistant to support their sourcing and logistics operations.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by handling administrative tasks and coordinating the shipping of product samples to multiple sales offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track the shipping of product samples to multiple international sales offices, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to sourcing and logistics teams, including documentation, data entry, and accurate record management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners to confirm shipping schedules and resolve minor logistical issues.
  • Maintain sourcing files, supplier records, and logistics schedules to ensure smooth operations and updated information across teams.
  • Assist in resolving administrative or logistical challenges by identifying issues early and supporting corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills for professional correspondence and reporting.
  • Previous experience in administrative support, sourcing, or logistics roles, ideally within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with basic data management knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
