Senior UI/UX Designer - Financial Institution

Job description

My client is a leading and reputable Financial Institution. They are looking for a high-caliber candidate as an AVP-level UX/UI Designer to join them to drive firm-wide digital transformation and product design.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Head of UIUX in the team, and act as a sub-team leader
  • Design and maintain UI libraries, including interactive design, responsive design and visual design
  • Collaborate with project team to identify customer pain points / behaviors / needs to develop corresponding app/web/mobile design
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that improve end-user experiences
  • Identify UI design issues during the development process while tracking and providing solutions to address the issues.
  • Undertake and lead Marketing/UX/UI tasks assigned by department head
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with project team in agile way of working

Requirement

  • Degree holder in Interaction Design, Creative Design or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design for web/mobile based applications
  • Experience working in Enterprise/Banking/Insurance industry is preferred
  • Able to showcase a portfolio of design work
  • Good skill in UX/UI designing applications/tools, eg Figma, Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator etc
  • Strong communication skills both Chinese (Catonese & Mandarin) and English
