Senior System Engineer - $65-80k

Job description

It is a leading investment group in Hong Kong.



Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage storage and backup solutions, including on-premises private cloud
  • Collaborate with application teams to implement IT solutions effectively.
  • Engage with stakeholders to plan and execute projects.
  • Adhere to the project timeline to meet all milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare project and technical documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and test reports.
  • Implement and manage automation tools and processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.



Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
  • Hands on experience in storage and/or private cloud technologies
  • Availability to work weekends for server setup and testing.
  • Strong team player with a desire for career advancement in a competitive industry.
  • Strong communication in Cantonese is a must
