Senior Network & Security Engineer - ibank ($70-90k + bonus)

The company is a leading investment institution with solid business in Hong Kong.

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and perform regular security assessments.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive financial data.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and applications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Respond to security incidents, including investigation, reporting, and remediation.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees across the organization.
• Prepare and present reports on network security status and incident responses to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network security or related roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security practices.
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, FINRA, GDPR) and risk management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English is necessary.
