Senior Internal Auditor

We are supporting our client, a well-established multinational group, in hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen their regional audit function. The role offers broad exposure across operational audits, risk assessments, and value‑add reviews across Asia, with close collaboration across business units and manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, on‑site fieldwork, and reporting activities for assigned audit projects.
  • Manage audit assignments independently or work closely with team members to execute the regional audit plan.
  • Conduct risk‑based reviews and contribute to advisory‑focused audit engagements.
  • Assess internal controls by gathering information, performing analysis, and testing control effectiveness.
  • Produce clear documentation, including audit observations and practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with auditees to confirm corrective actions with minimal supervision.
  • Highlight irregular patterns, support investigative work, and recommend measures to strengthen fraud prevention.
  • Travel regularly to manufacturing sites in APAC

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
  • At least 4 years of audit or related experience within an international organization.
  • Strong background in operational auditing or hands‑on exposure to business operations.
  • Experience within manufacturing or multinational environments is highly preferred.
  • CPA and/or CIA qualifications are beneficial.
  • Strong analytical mindset with solid research and due‑diligence capabilities.
  • Highly motivated, results‑oriented, and committed to professional integrity.
  • Strong communication skills across written and verbal formats.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working independently and engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
