Sales & Marketing Lead (FMCG)

Job description

As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales and marketing strategies for the company's product portfolio in Hong Kong. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing plans via various online and offline sales channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the profit and loss of the Hong Kong Business, with a focus on achieving revenue targets and maximizing profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies and plans to drive business growth, market shares and brand awareness in the Hong Kong market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various online and offline sales channels, including but not limited to ecommerce marketplaces, supermarkets and other retail channels.
  • Motivate and guiding the sales and marketing teams. Train and mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment,
  • Stay abreast of market trends, consumer preference, competitor activities, and industry developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 12+ years in sales and marketing management within the FMCG industry, with a focus on the Hong Kong market.
  • Solid track record in driving sales revenue and market shares growth of newly launched consumer product brands.
  • Good understanding on the Hong Kong market landscape, consumer behavior and the dynamics of various channels in Hong Kong especially e-commerce and major retail chains.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a sales team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese is required.
