Regional Sales Director/ Manager - Food Packaging | HORECA

Job description

Our client is a fast-growing food packaging manufacturer with a focus on developing innovative and eco-friendly products. To support their growth plan in the region, they are now looking for an experience sales leader to drive their business growth in APAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Growth - Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market‑share targets. Identify new business opportunities across foodservice, HoReCa, retail, and distribution networks. Lead new product introductions and promotional initiatives to accelerate adoption in the market.
  • Distributor Management - Manage, evaluate, and grow relationships with existing distributors to increase sales effectiveness. Implement structured distributor performance metrics, business reviews, and joint business plans. Identify, qualify, and onboard new distributors in strategic growth markets. Ensure product availability, pricing consistency, and excellence in route‑to‑market execution.
  • HoReCa / Foodservice Channel Development - Build strong relationships with major HoReCa accounts, QSRs, cafés, catering companies, and foodservice operators. Drive product trials, menu applications, and long‑term partnerships with key chain accounts. Support channel‑specific campaigns, sampling programs, and sustainability‑driven engagement initiatives.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Partner with marketing to tailor regional campaigns, trade promotions, and customer education programs. Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure demand accuracy, inventory planning, and timely fulfillment. Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and emerging industry trends.
  • Reporting & Forecasting - Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts and pipeline updates. Prepare quarterly business reviews and performance analysis for leadership. Track KPIs related to sales performance, distribution quality, customer retention, and revenue growth.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 8+ year of sales experience in food packaging, FMCG, foodservice, or related industries, prior experience covering APAC markets is required.
  • Proven success managing distributor networks and driving performance across large territories.
  • Strong understanding of HoReCa channels, customer needs, procurement cycles, and operational dynamics.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • Fluency in English is must.
