Portfolio Manager, Sustainable & Impact Investing

We are partnering with a private multinational office to hire a Manager who will advance its impact‑focused investment and funding initiatives. The role will oversee the development of innovative financing approaches, manage structured pilot projects, and work with a broad network of partners to deliver meaningful and sustainable impact across key programme areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the scoping, assessment, and structuring of pilot initiatives, including research, feasibility studies, due diligence, and impact aligned financing models
  • Develop strategic proposals, analysis packs, and recommendation papers to support senior leadership and board‑level decision processes
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with partners across public, private, academic, philanthropic, and non‑profit sectors to advance project development and ecosystem collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams to establish processes, frameworks, and governance needed for innovative funding and impact‑oriented programmes
  • Lead knowledge synthesis and learning activities, ensuring insights gained from pilot development are shared across teams and external stakeholders
  • Manage operational and administrative workflows budget tracking, reporting, procurement coordination, vendor engagement, communications logistics, and event support
  • Contribute to broader initiatives that build sector capacity and promote the adoption of impact capital approaches

  • Requirement:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in impact investing, private investments, strategic partnerships, private equity, or venture capital
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with capability to assess both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Solid financial modelling experience with exposure to various financing structures
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders on complex topics
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, evolving environments while working collaboratively
  • Strong interest in philanthropy, social innovation, development, or systemic change
  • High level of professional integrity and commitment to public good
