PMO Director/ Manager (IT)

Job Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Group CIO, the incumbent will be the key member in driving PMO function of the company including managing IT budgets and expense, project portfolio tracking, resource management, vendor management, risk & governance, project status updates and reporting. You will govern and optimize various workflow and approval process to enhance operation efficiency. You will be the key point of contacts for business stakeholders across the globe and you will ensure a smooth communication between business teams and technology teams. You will monitor and manage risk exposure of projects and ensure the appropriate project governance is in place based on company standard and policies. You will drive and manage ad-hoc initiatives and digital projects as per management request.

Key Requirements

• A degree holder in Information Technology, Finance, Business Management or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 10 years of PMO/ IT Project Management experience gained from multinational companies. Relevant qualification in project management, e.g. PMP, Scrum, would be a definite advantage.
• Experience in developing and managing IT budget and portfolio tracking framework.
• Familiar with different project and resources management methodologies and reporting tools.
• Technically savvy and able to communicate effectively in tech languages and liaise between the technology and business team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with solid experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders including management team, development team and external vendors.
• Strong numerical sense with the ability to handle complex financials and budgeting figures.
• Good organization skills and detailed-oriented.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
