Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Linux servers, addressing technical issues and ensuring system uptime.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security; respond to alerts and incidents promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Linux servers.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems and applications.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and patch management to ensure security and reliability.
- Document procedures, create user manuals, and maintain knowledge base articles for troubleshooting.
- Participate in the on-call support rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for critical systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Linux system administration, providing L1 and L2 support.
- Strong understanding of Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) and command-line operations.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Chinese and English.
