Lead Java Developer - Securities (60-80k)

Job description

My client is a leading securities firm in Hong Kong with global coverage. They are looking for a senior Java programmer to engage in modernizing and developing their trading systems.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize and develop a portfolio of trading systems including in-house self-developed platforms and vendor platforms
  • Provide high quality trading support to front office and back office stakeholders on various institutional trading platforms
  • Conduct and coordinate UAT and regression test for the on-going module upgrades
  • Follow-up issues and liaise with vendors and users' requests in a timely manner
  • Participate in various potential new project phases for the business stakeholders
  • Occasional weekend support roster for system release and change management

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in application development and support of the large-scale systems
  • Experienced in developing Java-based application on Linux in enterprise or financial institution setting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools integration/operations is desired
  • Strong team player and veteran vendor manager
  • Excellent communication skill in English and Chinese
