Java Developer - ibank ($30-45k)

It is a leading financial institution with expanding solid business in Hong Kong and APAC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, and test software functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on best practices and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to inform development efforts.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Document software requirements, design specifications, and technical processes.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business needs.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying areas where technology can enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in IT function. Candidates without financial services experience will also be considered.
• Advanced understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in business processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Strong communication in both Chinese and English.
