IT Director - Digital Transformation

Job description

Our client is a leading conglomerate with a diverse business portfolio. To lead and drive their digital transformation strategies, they are now inviting a seasoned technology leader to join their team in Hong Kong.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals and long-term growth.
  • Oversee ERP and CRM system implementation, integration, and optimization across business units.
  • Drive AI and machine learning initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Establish data governance frameworks and promote data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize technology investments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery of scalable, secure technology solutions.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing technology and innovation team.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on business operations.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and compliance across all digital platforms and systems.
  • Report directly to C-suite on digital progress, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within large enterprises or conglomerates. Prior experience in retail, property, or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proven success in leading ERP, CRM, and AI implementations across complex business environments.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in digital transformation execution.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive change in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a must.
