IT Analyst - Devops - banking ($25-30k)

Job description

It is a leading financial institution with solid business in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the deployment and management of applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
  • Support system integration initiatives by configuring and monitoring cloud services to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and application performance.
  • Participate in the implementation of best practices for cloud security and compliance.
  • Document processes and solutions to contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Support the development and monitoring of system performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools in cloud computing and DevOps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in IT function.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
