Head of Sales - Retail | Telecom (1.5 - 2M OTE)

Job description

As the Head of Sales, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to maximize the sales performance across all channels including stores, online platforms and telesales center.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across all sales channels.
  • Lead and manage a sizable and high-performing team of retail sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business expansion and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Services and Product Development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related discipline.
  • A minimal of 15+ years of work experience with a proven track record of success in retail sales leadership roles in the telecommunication industry.
  • Hands on experience in managing the operation of a large scale of retail store network and driving sales performance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with strong experience in managing and motivating a sizable team.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the Hong Kong retail and consumer market.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
