Head of Fundraising
We are partnering with a prominent international NGO to recruit a Head of Fundraising for their Hong Kong office. Reporting to the executive management team, this critical leadership role oversees a sizable department, driving sustainable income growth across multiple donor segments to support vital global impact programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate multi-year fundraising strategies that align seamlessly with the organization's regional and global priorities.
- Cultivate high-value giving streams by strategically engaging philanthropists, family foundations, and corporate partners to maximize long-term income.
- Direct mass-market initiatives, including digital acquisition campaigns and regular giving programmes, to actively expand the supporter base.
- Champion the adoption and integration of advanced CRM systems while ensuring robust data analytics and segmentation practices.
- Collaborate extensively with internal communications teams and global counterparts to launch integrated campaigns and generate community engagement.
- Mentor and empower a large, multi-functional department, directly managing several segment leads to continuously build team capability.
- Steer departmental financial planning, maintain strict expenditure control, and ensure absolute compliance with ethical fundraising standards.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a highly related discipline.
- Accumulate at least 15 years of relevant professional experience, including an extensive background in senior management leading large teams.
- Exhibit a proven track record in non-profit development, particularly within high-value giving or large-scale public campaigns.
- Demonstrate profound knowledge of the local charity landscape, coupled with a strong grasp of CRM systems and data-driven operations.
- Display exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the agility to operate autonomously under pressure.
- Command fluent spoken and written English and Chinese, with Mandarin proficiency considered a distinct advantage.
- Share a deep personal alignment with mission-driven values and maintain a willingness to travel occasionally for field visits.
