Fundraising Manager (INGO)

We are partnering with a respected international NGO to appoint a Fundraising Manager to lead its Hong Kong Major Gifts portfolio. You will set strategy, expand networks, drive integrated campaigns, and coach a high‑performing team to deliver ambitious income targets and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape multi‑year strategy and annual plans/KPIs across Major Gifts sub‑pillars
  • Deliver income targets; review performance with the Director of Fundraising and refine tactics.
  • Expand and steward donor networks with tailored outreach, proposals, meetings, and events.
  • Lead acquisition and digital campaigns to generate major gift, sponsorship, and legacy leads.
  • Produce high‑quality proposals, reports, and stewardship materials aligned with ethics and brand.
  • Govern donor processes: policies, workflows, data integrity, and CRM/database records.
  • Coach, develop, and performance‑manage team members; support recruitment and onboarding.

Requirements:

  • University degree with 5+ years major donor fundraising, including direct solicitation.
  • 3+ years people management with proven coaching and performance uplift.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
  • Strong English; Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) a significant advantage.
  • Proficient with donor CRMs, data/insights, and MS Office; rigorous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of international humanitarian issues and alignment with mission and values.
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines, work independently, and travel domestically/internationally.
