The Director of Sourcing & Procurement will play a strategic and proactive role in driving business growth. This position works closely with the commercial team to understand customer needs and market trends, ensuring sourcing strategies and product selections align with client requirements. The role combines commercial insight with operational excellence, balancing cost optimization, quality, and innovation to deliver competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership & Strategy: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to anticipate customer requirements and translate them into sourcing strategies. Provide market intelligence and recommendations on product categories and solutions that enhance client value.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and customer expectations. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Supplier & Product Management: Identify and onboard suppliers offering innovative and cost-effective office solutions. Ensure product portfolio meets evolving market and client needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee procurement processes, including purchase orders, contract management, and payment cycles. Implement best practices and digital tools to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sourcing standards. Manage supply chain risks and maintain continuity.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement gained from sizable organization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to link sourcing decisions to commercial outcomes.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization.
  • Experience working closely with commercial teams align procurement with client needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
  • Candidate with less experience might be considered for a Senior Manager/ Manager position.
