Data Architect - financial institution ($60-80k + bonus)

The company is looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the implementation and enhancement of group-wide data analytics platform leveraging Azure/AWS Cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing data architecture that supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a robust data architecture for a group-wide data analytics platform on Azure/AWS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
• Enhance existing data processes to improve efficiency and support advanced analytics.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance standards are met across the platform.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as necessary.
• Provide guidance and best practices for data management strategies within the cloud environment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in cloud data analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience, as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role, focusing on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication in both Chinese and English.
