Business Intelligence and Data Manager

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the usage of BI solution and data system. You will provide data-driven and actionable insights to support business decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data management strategies to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, dashboards, and reporting systems to facilitate efficient data access and analysis.
  • Select, develop, and optimize various BI tools. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing BI tools and explore new and relevant BI technologies for the business to enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data, analytics, and reporting needs, and provide tailored solutions for various business needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing robust data governance practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data management and business intelligence to continuously improve processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • A minimal of 8 years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, data analytics and data warehouse management.
  • Prior work experience with MNCs with international market exposure is required. Exposure to industrial, supply chain, logistic or souring industries would be a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with cross-cultural team.
  • Strong business acumen with good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required.
