About our speakers
Lawrence Tsang - Group CFO, Vistra
As CFO, Lawrence overseas all Group Finance related function including reporting, forecasting and analysis, treasury and tax and investor relations. He is actively involved in the prolific acquisition strategy of the Group, closing on average 6 deals per annum since joining the Group in 2013. He is also the founder of the Group’s global Corporate Responsibility strategy and chairs the CSR Committee. He sits on the board together with the CEO and the majority PE owner.
Lawrence has over 25 years of broad experience in financial management, business administration, strategy development and change management. He started his career at Unilever in the UK where he spent seven years taking up various finance management positions around the world. He returned to Asia in 1995 and, since then, held several regional CFO positions in different industries. Just prior to joining the Vistra Group, Lawrence spent ten years in Linklaters, one of the world’s preeminent global law firms, where he was CFO and then COO for their Asia Pacific region.
Lincoln Chan - Finance Director, Hony Capital
Lincoln has over 18 years of finance experience, particularly in investment banking, private equity and asset management industry in Hong Kong, China and the United States.
Lincoln joined Hony Capital Group in 2015 as Finance Director overseeing the Group's finance matters and strategy. Prior to joining Hony Capital, Lincoln started his career at Deloitte, covering assurance and advisory business services. Lincoln worked at Goldman Sachs as Executive Director in Finance Division from 2007 to 2015, where he held various positions, including Product Controller for Asian Special Situations Group and China Head of Financial Control.
Lincoln holds a BSc in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School in England. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Michael Cheung - Group CFO, TBWA China
Michael joined TBWA in May 2015 where he oversees all finance and IT functions for TBWA China and
TBWA\HAKUHODO China. Michael works in close business partnership with company executives and joint venture partners on commercial strategies and analyses to maximize profits and improve operational efficiency.
Prior to joining TBWA, Michael was the CFO of ThreeSixty Group which provides product design, development, packaging, sourcing, distribution and shopper marketing to major retailers in the US. Michael also held senior executive finance and operations positions at global firms such as Disney and Newscorp in Asia.
Michael is a Top-10 accounting undergraduate from University of Wisconsin - Madison and qualified his CPA in the US. He is also a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a CFA charter holder.
Daisy is a qualified accountant and started her career in the Technology & Communication sectors. However, she came across an opportunity to work for a global brand in the recruitment industry in the Finance & Accounting field and thought, 'why not?'. Ten years on, this industry still continues to pique her curiosity.
She currently specialises in Senior Finance roles in Commerce & Industry for the Hong Kong market. She also works on China-based mandates where clients require Hong Kong talents to relocate there.
