I'm delighted to invite you to our upcoming roundtable discussion on 'How To Develop Your Talent Pool'.
In Hong Kong, many are accustomed to the “Dragon Mum” concept, where parents prefer their children working in Multi-national organisations. As a result, many working professionals will not consider working with a startup, substantially reducing the talent pool. We believe that with the right amount of exposure and knowledge, this traditional mindset among local working professionals can be changed.
Please join us at our upcoming roundtable discussion with our distinguished guest speakers: Kimberly Arth & Lauren Lin, Co-Founders - PIVOT, Justin Leung, Director - HaTCH, Tracy Tam, Learning & Development Lead - Ambition, Alex King, Strategic Partnership Manager - HaTCH, as we discuss and share our insights on:
- What is your general approach to recruiting and outreach?
- What channels do you use that are most efficient?
- What are the biggest challenges you face in identifying and converting ideal candidates: i.e. salary constraints, skill set, flexibility, etc.
- Key characteristics you look for
- Seniority level that is most challenging to hire for
- Challenges/limitations hiring within a startup
- How to “sell” working for a startup
