Our Speakers
Nicholas Lucas - COO, Vanguard Investments
Nick Lucas is the Chief Operating Officer, Asia for Vanguard Investments Hong Kong Limited. He is responsible for overseeing Finance and Operations for Vanguard’s business in Asia, including financial planning and analysis, controller functions, risk management, operations, client services, facilities, and administration.Prior to this role, Nick was the Finance Director for Asia. He relocated to Hong Kong in September 2017, after spending three years based in Melbourne, Australia as Head of Internal Audit,Asia Pacific where he oversaw all internal audits of Vanguard’s Asia Pacific business. Previously, Nick worked for Vanguard’s U.S. business performing global audits of investment management activities, investment operations, corporate functions, sales, and client services. Nick started at Vanguard in 2009 as part of a Finance division rotational program before joining Internal Audit in 2010.Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics from Lycoming College. He also holds a Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor (CIDA) designation.
Emma Martin – Regional Finance Director (Asia Pacific), Ogilvy & Mather
Emma is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has spent the last 18 years in the marketing and communications industry with Ogilvy. Emma is currently Regional Finance Director for Asia Pacific and the Head of HR for the local Hong Kong office. She partners with business leaders, teams and clients to develop business strategy, enhance processes, inspire teams, drive change and help turn ideas into growth.
Vincent Fok – CFO, Boyu Capital
Vincent Fok is the CFO of Boyu Capital where he oversees the overall financial operations of the firm. He possesses over 17 years of senior finance executive experience in private equity investment industry. Mr. Fok has extensive experience working for various reputable investment firms in the past with combined AUM over US$25 billion in the region. He is also one of the founding members and director of Hong Kong Private Equity Finance Association. Mr. Fok is a Certified Public Accountant in the US and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Mr. Fok holds MBA degree from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois at Chicago majoring in Accounting.
