Our Speakers

Sharon Chan - Finance Director at Steelcase 

Sharon Chan is currently the Finance Director (APAC) of Steelcase Asia Pacific and is responsible for overseeing all financial activities and supporting the strategic initiatives of the region. She has 17 years of diversified financial management, FP&A and strategic business partnering (including new business launches and acquisition) experience through her previous roles at Amgen, eBay, Abbott, GSK and Medtronic. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a tax consultant focusing on China Tax and Transfer Pricing.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Economics) from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree of Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales. She also holds a certificate from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Illinois).


Wilson Wong - Assistant Financial Controller at Anglo-Eastern Ship Management

Wilson is an HKICPA and ICAEW qualified accountant with close to 15 years of working experience in both Big 4 Accounting firms and the commercial sector. After gaining his bachelor of business in Business Administration, he joined Deloitte and later PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he spent 7 years in total within the external audit industry. Wilson has been promoted several times and moved on into the commercial field after reaching Manager grade at PwC.

Within the commercial sector, he has spent over 5 years at Anglo-Eastern Ship Management Ltd, a leading multinational and industry leader in the ship management business. He currently leads over 70 members of staff across 10 jurisdictions, overseeing the reporting, treasury and analysis functions.


Winnie Tse - Chief Administrative Officer and Group Controller - Head of Finance at Taubman Asia

Winnie Tse is the Chief Administrative Officer and Group Controller – Head of Finance, Asia. In this role, she leads the Finance team and oversees all accounting and financial reporting across Asia. She also has indirect responsibility for Human Resources and Information Technology in this region – both of which report directly to the U.S. Head Office.

Ms Tse has worked with Taubman Asia since 2005 and has successfully led the finance function through the company’s entry into China, Korea and Macau. She has also been part of the global team that created the necessary interface required for corporate tax, treasury and financial reporting as the Asia business launched as a start-up and grew into a retail real estate platform with operating assets.

Prior to joining Taubman, Ms Tse worked a stint at Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu, and before that five years at KPMG Certified Public Accountants.

She has a Master of Commerce in Fund Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Economics – both from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Ms Tse is a certified public accountant in Hong Kong and Australia and is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
