Windows Engineer (patch management), banking, up to 50K

Job description

A leading local bank is now looking for an experienced System Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Technical Services Manager in preparing the budget regarding the Deskside & Endpoint Team
  • Ensure the desktop & endpoint configuration standard compliance in the Bank
  • Develop & refine the desktop & endpoint operation procedures
  • Define the desktop configuration policies and rules
  • Monitor the service quality of the outsourced Deskside Support Service and ensure the team members have strictly followed the standard process/procedure
  • Plan, schedule, execute, monitor and follow up PC patch management
  • Perform project management on projects related to Deskside rollout and new solution implementation

Qualifications

  • University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Certification holder of CISSP or CISA is an advantage
  • At least 10 years of experience in Microsoft Windows desktop platform management and administration
  • At least 5 years of experience in management role, experience in banking and financial institute patch management preferred
  • Strong technical skills on Windows environment, Deskside hardware and software
  • Certification holder of related Microsoft and ITIL qualification will be an added advantage
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
