Our client is a top tier Global Fortune 500 company within the retail and FMCG industry. With more than 140,000 employees globally, they are one of the dominant force within force within the FMCG and retail sector. Looking to reinforce their supply chain and logistics process, they are now in search of a Warehouse Manager. Good Cantonese and English is a must.

You would be responsible for the overall management of their 200,000 square feet warehouse and other external 3PL managed warehouses. You will be managing around 40 staffs to ensure smooth operation and inventory control. As a Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing team of around 40 staffs to ensure smooth operations of the 200,000 square feet warehouse
  • Collaborating with external vendors on 3PL warehouse management
  • Maintaining good and healthy relationship with operation staffs
  • Coordinating with transport, sales, marketing and planning team to ensure smooth operation including inbound, outbound, resources planning and inventory control
  • Improving existing KPI and SOP for warehousing to keep operation both time and cost efficient
  • Monitoring resource usage and developing cost saving strategies
  • Monitoring subcontractors' activities and that they align with company's SOP

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree holder with more than 7 years of warehouse management experience
  • At least 3 years of team management experience is a must (at least 20 people)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a MUST
  • Experience managing food and beverage products would be an advantage
  • Proactive, mature, accountable with good communication skills
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
