Job description

Key Responsibilities:

As a UAT Tester, you will:

  • Verify and discuss user requirements (URS) with the team lead, business analysts, and end users.

  • Walk through user and functional requirements (FRS) with system analysts or IT teams.

  • Prepare, review, and refine test scope, scenarios, and test cases.

  • Create test data for execution in the UAT environment.

  • Execute test cases and validate system functionality in UAT.

  • Coordinate and arrange UAT sessions for end users when needed.

  • Analyze test results and communicate findings with the IT team.

  • Identify, document, and track defects, providing feedback to the development team for system improvements.

  • Conduct post-implementation health checks to ensure system stability.

  • Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Team Manager.







Requirements:

  • A university degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in the insurance or banking industry.

  • Strong analytical, logical, and organizational skills.

  • Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of Access or programming languages is a plus.

  • Fluent in written and spoken Chinese.
