About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive UAT Tester to join our client - a global insurance group. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the systems meet user expectations and business requirements through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Be Doing

As a UAT Tester, your responsibilities will include:

  • Requirement Validation: Collaborate with team leads, business analysts, and end users to confirm and clarify user requirements (URS).
  • Functional Review: Participate in walkthroughs of functional specifications (FRS) with system analysts and IT teams.
  • Test Planning: Design and refine test scopes, scenarios, and test cases tailored to business needs.
  • Data Preparation: Generate and manage test data for use in the UAT environment.
  • Test Execution: Run test cases, validate system behavior, and ensure alignment with expected outcomes.
  • User Coordination: Organize and facilitate UAT sessions with end users as needed.
  • Issue Analysis: Review test results, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings to the IT team.
  • Defect Management: Log, track, and report bugs, offering constructive feedback to developers for system enhancements.
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Conduct health checks after implementation to confirm system stability.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Team Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in UAT or related roles within the insurance or banking sector.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with Access or programming languages is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Chinese.
