Treasury Director - APAC

About the Company:

Our client is a well-recognized multinational firm with a regional headquarter in Hong Kong. With several sizable projects in multiple brands under their group, they have established a strong business in Hong Kong, PRC as well as the APAC region. The role is a newly created position with focus on treasury operations

Responsibilities

  • In charge of regional treasury operations and cash management for over 10 entities in APAC region
  • Working closely with Finance team on project funding decisions and financial projections
  • Manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk, FX and hedging
  • Prepare and submit treasury reports for senior management review and meet regularly with global headquarters
  • Work closely with management team to develop analytical models, automation, and optimization strategies
  • Drive centralization of treasury functions to Hong Kong - cash pooling, concentration, and structuring
  • Manage and liaise with banks for funding and investment decisions
  • Special projects in automation and efficiency enhancement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
  • Qualified in ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent. CTP would also be an advantage
  • At least 8-15 years of experience with preferably in sizable multinationals or listed companies
  • Experience in a regional role, covering APAC countries or with Greater China experience
  • Excellent command in English, Cantonese or Mandarin would be an advantage to work with regional stakeholders in APAC
