System Analyst (.net/ MSSQL) Insurance Industry 35-48k

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements, perform analysis and propose technical solution for an initiative
  • Prepare documentation on functional and technical specifications
  • Perform system design (under supervision of senior staff), development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement
  • Prepare SIT / UAT test plan and manage test execution and documentation to ensure completeness and traceability
  • Work with external vendor for enhancements and production supports
  • Coordinate within IT and user teams on system deployment arrangement
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' related working experience preferably in insurance or finance industry
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Solid experience with application development using .Net Core/.Net Framework
  • Proficient in MS SQL
  • Experience with Microservice, API and Web Services, e.g. REST, SOAP
  • Cloud service knowledge such as Azure, AWS experience is a plus
  • Good knowledge of software implementation best practices
  • Good problem solving skills and communication, able to work with user departments and vendors
  • Good team player, self-initiative and pro-active
