Software Engineer - Front-end

Responsibilities:

• Engage in the design, coding, testing, maintenance and support of customer-facing products and services
• Define and actively contribute to the development of a new User Interface framework to be used across web, mobile, kiosk and display systems
• Collaborate with other delivery teams to deliver a high performance, low latency and mission-critical digital platform with common services
• Develop proof of concepts and prepare demonstrations to business stakeholders
• Define best practices and implement coding standards

Requirements:

• University degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• 2+ years solid front-end development experience, ideally in React.JS
• Experience in Typescript would be a plus
• Experience in Web Service-Oriented Applications and developing large-scale and high performance websites
• Knowledge and working experience in transaction processing, particularly in-memory database design is an advantage
• Good understanding of UI components, e.g. Redux/ContextAPI is an advantage
• Knowledge in programming Design Patterns or UI Frameworks e.g. Next.js/ NativeBase is an advantage
• Experience in integrating native iOS/ Android development with React Native projects is a plus
• Strong understanding of UX/UI, DevOps and Agile Methodology is an advantage
• Good command in spoken and written Cantonese, English and Mandarin
