Senior Technical Analyst - Insurance - Hong Kong

Our client is a leading financial services group, they are now looking for a Senior Technical Analyst (i.e. production support/BA hybrid) to join their fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• You will own and support a wide variety of systems from a Level 2 perspective
• You will work with business clients to debug or trouble shoot applications
• You will investigate SQL stored procedures, Java, .Net code, Batch scripts from a support perspective to debug issues or perform analysis for minor enhancements
• You will coach and lead associate system analysts in your team, and peer with upstream/downstream Application teams to form a top-performing support model aligned with measurable business SLAs
• You will coordinate code deployments with Dev, release and QA
• You will coordinate development efforts with the development team for major enhancements
• You will investigate feed failures and manage to resolution

Requirements:

*Open to candidates from FS and non-FS background*

• 4+ years work experience supporting systems at Level 1 and 2, with some BA experience
• Strong technical exposure to Oracle database and SQL
• Experience with COBOL would be nice to have
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese
