Senior Merchandiser (Lingerie/ Sweater/ Woven Fabric)

Job description

Our client is a global apparel and accessories sourcing organisation with a strong international footprint across key production markets. Supporting global brands through design, development, and full sourcing services, the Hong Kong office is now hiring 3 Senior Merchandisers specialising in Intimates/ Woven Fabrics/ Sweater respectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end‑to‑end product development, costing, and sourcing to meet quality, pricing, and delivery targets
  • Coordinate closely with design, technical, fabric, and overseas teams to ensure brand requirements, fit standards, and product specs are met
  • Liaise with suppliers, factories, and mills for sample tracking, pricing negotiation, and timely development submissions
  • Provide technical support on fabric, trims, testing, risk assessment, and production readiness
  • Maintain accurate communication with internal teams and external partners across markets to ensure workflow efficiency

Intimates/ Sweater

  • Lead product development cycles for intimate apparel, ensuring alignment with fit, construction, and quality requirements
  • Review tech packs, samples, and fit comments with technical teams to drive product accuracy and consistency
  • Work closely with the Fabric team to secure approvals, quality checks, and timely submissions

Woven Fabric

  • Oversee fabric counter‑sourcing, development, and seasonal raw material price updates for woven fabrics
  • Follow up with customers' fabric R&D teams on testing, sample yardage, schedules, and tracking charts
  • Support assessment, onboarding, and development of mills, and provide technical input on prints and fabric innovation

Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferred; Textile, Fashion, or related fields advantageous
  • 6-10 years' relevant merchandising or product development experience in sourcing or buying offices
  • Strong technical knowledge relevant to Intimates, Sweater or Woven Fabrics (specify category when applying)
  • Exposure of the US market would be a big plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bamboo Rose experience is a plus for woven candidates
  • Team‑oriented, detail‑driven, and able to manage multiple stakeholders efficiently
  • (Sweater specific) Candidates with more experience will be considered as Manager
