Senior Merchandiser (Lingerie/ Sweater/ Woven Fabric)

With decades of experience in global apparel sourcing, our client partners with leading international brands to deliver high‑quality products through comprehensive design, development, and production management capabilities.

With a strong footprint across major manufacturing hubs and a growing operation in Hong Kong, the team is expanding and now looking to appoint 3 Senior Merchandisers specialising in Intimates/ Woven Fabric/ Sweater to support their accelerating product development and sourcing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end‑to‑end product development and sourcing across assigned categories, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved
• Partner closely with internal design, technical, fabric, and overseas teams to ensure product requirements, fit standards, and brand guidelines are met
• Liaise with suppliers, mills, and factories to track development progress, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely submissions
• Provide technical input on fabric, construction, testing, and risk assessments, collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain strong communication with all counterparts - customers, fabric teams, R&D, and production partners - to ensure smooth workflow and clear information flow
• Support ad‑hoc projects, vendor communication, onboarding activities, and mill/factory evaluations as needed

Intimates/ Sweaters

• Lead product development for intimate apparel, ensuring best‑cost negotiation and alignment with brand fit and quality requirements
• Review tech packs, samples, and fit comments with technical teams to ensure compliance with product specifications
• Coordinate closely with Fabric teams to secure on‑time submission and approval of materials and trims

Woven Fabric

• Manage fabric counter‑sourcing, development, and seasonal price updates for woven fabric categories
• Work with customer R&D teams on key deliverables such as testing reports, sample yardage, and bulk readiness
• Assess and develop mills, support onboarding, and provide technical support for print and fabric developmen

Requirements:

• Degree holder preferred; Textile, Fashion, or related disciplines advantageous
• 6-10 years' merchandising or product development experience, ideally within buying offices/ trading companies.
• Technical knowledge relevant to either Intimates/ Sweater/ Woven Fabric
• Exposure in the US market is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of garment development, fabrics, testing, and production processes
• Excellent coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Strong data management and Microsoft Office skills; Bamboo Rose knowledge is a plus for woven candidates
• Collaborative team player with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Candidates with more experiences can be considered as Manager (Sweater specific)
