Our client is a global 3PL company with offices in over 40 countries. Not only do they offer supply chain and freight forwarding solutions. They also provide "next flight out" international time critical services around the globe.

A key senior leadership opportunity has arisen. This is a managerial role managing the global operation team for this Time Critical Service. Reporting to the Global Commercial Director, you will

  • Act in a global role to drive progress in terms of processes, procedure, dealing with complexities of global clients and different intenational offices, and intergroup issues to achieve the business objectives for the time critical service business
  • Optimize the operation of a 7x24 center and the service level by excellent human resources planning and client management
  • Manage key accounts for the aspect of service level requirement collection, quotation and service level agreement formulation
  • Manage local and international vendors & airlines to develop strategic relationships; and ensure compliance with local and international legislation
  • Manage and develop reporting tools and structures
  • Streamline interaction between the operations and accounting departments to ensure accurate, transparent and thorough accounting and invoicing processes
  • Understand competition landscape and develop process and capacity for further development of offers and service
  • Project lead and directly manage large scale business tenders from key retail and wholesale accounts

To qualify, you will have/be,

· A Degree holder in international business, logistics and supply chain preferred

· Minimum 15 years of experience in logistics/supply chain industry, in which at least 5 years in managerial or team leading capacity

· Experience in managing global operation team or as a Global/Regional Key Account Manager working closely with global operation team. Time critical service is not a must but will be advantaged

· English language skills will be looked upon favourably. Both expatriates or local candidates will be welcome
