Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy

Our client is a leading engineering company with international presence. We are assisting them in the search of an experienced Finance & Strategy Senior Manager to lead the existing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving FP&A activities, strategic planning, and KPI management across more than 10 business units.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the FP&A function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide analysis and actionable insights to business units, supporting decision-making and performance improvement.
• Oversee KPI budgeting, monitor departmental KPI progress, and make recommendations to business units.
• Consolidate and streamline KPIs across departments to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational goals.
• Participate in board meetings, presenting financial and strategic updates.
• Drive strategic planning initiatives for the entire organization, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
• Act as a coordination point between departments, facilitating communication and collaboration.
• Support the GM of Finance in overseeing finance and procurement functions.
• Provide forward-looking advice and recommendations to business units to enhance financial and strategic outcomes.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of FP&A or business analysis experience in sizable organizations.
• Background in Big 4 accounting firms or consulting companies is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams of 4-5 staff.
• Qualified CPA preferred.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting; experience with ERP implementation and digital transformation is an asset.
• Strong strategic thinking and advisory capabilities; experience in company secretariat work is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach and strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in both English and Cantonese is essential.
