Senior Internal Audit Manager (HK$60-75k)

Job description

Our client is looking for a Senior Internal Audit Manager to join their Internal Audit department, you will be the sole contributor responsible for leading and managing the entire internal audit function.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to CFO and Audit Committee
  • Develop and implement the internal audit strategy and framework as agreed by the Audit Committee, and ensure high-quality audits are conducted.
  • Provide review on the company's risk management and internal control systems.
  • Prepare audit reports, findings and presentation to Audit Committee and senior management.
  • Perform risk assessments, identify controls in place to mitigate risks, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead investigations into potential fraud, whistle-blowing cases, misconduct, or irregularities.
  • Provide practical and effective recommendations to enhance the control environment and mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to management in strengthening the control environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CIA, CISA, CPA or CA are preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in internal audit or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • 20% travelling within the globe.
