Senior HR Officer, Retail

Job description


In this role, you will support the Hong Kong and Macau regions as a business partner, providing comprehensive assistance to retail partners. You will implement HR programs and initiatives focused on talent management, employee engagement, and brand development, collaborating with the APAC HR and Retail teams in alignment with the company's strategic direction. Regular compilation of personnel and productivity reports for management review is also a key responsibility. Additionally, you will participate in assigned HR projects and initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with retail partners to ensure effective execution of HR services, including recruitment, employee relations, manpower planning, career development, and performance management.
  • Maintain professional communication with staff through various channels, fostering strong relationships.
  • Conduct regular store visits to build rapport with staff and management, keeping them engaged and motivated.
  • Identify development needs within store management and sales teams, providing appropriate support and guidance.
  • Enhance your understanding of the market and business to collaborate with HR Business Partners, Compensation & Benefits, and retail teams in developing talent attraction and retention strategies.
  • Organize staff activities to promote positive working relationships among colleagues

Job Qualifications & SKills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience in a sizable organization, preferably within the retail industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment ordinances, local regulations, and compliance requirements in Hong Kong and Macau.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence positively.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
