Senior Finance Manager, Asia Pacific (Manufacturing)

Our client is a world-renowned manufacturing company with a global presence. We are assisting them in the search for a Senior Finance Manager to head the APAC finance function.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance teams across Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia markets.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the MD and senior stakeholders, driving financial performance and supporting business growth.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, consolidation, and taxation.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong and PRC accounting standards, as well as relevant international standards.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the MD and senior leadership team to support decision‑making and business planning.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee customs and trade finance matters where applicable.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business expansion and operational excellence.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA qualification is required.
• Minimum 10 years of solid finance experience in the manufacturing industry, with strong exposure to regional operations.
• Proven track record in leading and managing finance teams across multiple markets.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and PRC accounting standards; familiarity with customs processes is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
