Our client is a Global Premium Consumer Goods company with various brands under its umbrella, with business in over 50 countries and Hong Kong as the regional hub. It is counted as 1 of the 5 biggest category brands in the region and knows some of the industry's first innovations. The company has strong business growth in the APAC market with Hong Kong as a regional hub, they are currently looking for a Senior E-commerce Director to leverage the growing business in APAC further.

You will be responsible for the APAC Online & E-commerce business strategy, including driving sales, identifying new online channels, improving the consumer experience, and providing advice to local markets with the APAC market's commercial objective. As a Senior E-commerce Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and driving the e-commerce and digital strategy for the regions in line with global guidelines while leading a specialist digital team
  • Supervising the APAC eCommerce Businesses, advising internal key stakeholders on how to maximize their online businesses in each domestic markets
  • P&L management, driving strategies and priorities for all eCommerce channels
  • Managing and creating annual regional business plans and budgets
  • Closely partnering with the brand team, launching and managing the implementation of the new e-business model, ensuring programs are implemented according to group guidelines in APAC
  • Regular reviews with internal and external key partners, prioritizing and driving key projects to achieve the business goals
  • Managing and improving the end-to-end consumer experience, closely partnering with cross departments to maximize the optimal result and consumer satisfaction

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree and have 15+ years of a combination of digital skills in the consumer products sector at a regional level
  • Extensive experience in e-Commerce function in Asia market is a MUST
  • Multi-brand management experience with a proven track record in managing P&L, designing an e-business strategy to drive the top and bottom-line sales growth
  • Solid track record in key stakeholder management with excellent relationship management skills
  • Outstanding business acumen with professional presentation and people management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, people-oriented, proactive and passionate attitude
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English
