Senior Business Planning Analyst / Assistant Business Planning

The Company

Our client is a listed world leading supplier of safety-critical sub-systems for rail and commercial. They have over a century history and the headquarter is in Germany, has a presence in over 30 countries around the world. They are hiring a Senior Business Planning Analyst(Or Assistant business planning manager) to support management to implement regional planning strategy in Asia Pacific. This role will report to the Director of Strategy & Business Planning Rail AP.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day project analysis and reporting for Management.
  • Handle the monthly data build-up and reconciliation
  • Verify SDP, OLAP & SF/OL data content for consistent production and purchasing planning
  • Support regional strategic planning process, perform analysis and consolidation, budget planning and review, offer guidance to locations during data evaluation and comment on order bank for gap analysis.
  • Liaise with Finance department and APAC locations to reinforce the required sales structure;
  • Cross-check and analyse budget planning with other systems; analyse, identify and missing potential on project level.
  • Liaise with global planning team to conduct testing and implement system improvements
  • Initiate and lead projects to improve planning diligence and accuracy
  • Handle ad-hoc analysis and support on market and sales data

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering or Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in MNC, with regional exposure a plus
  • Sales and strategic planning with massive data management and analytical skill
  • Proficient in SAP & Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
  • Responsible, well-organized, detail oriented and excellent interpersonal skill
  • Experience in railway industry is preferable
