Senior Accounting Manager

The Company

A globally leading FMCG business with distributors and wholesalers across multiple geographical regions. Over the years, their business has grown to overtake its competitors as a well-recognized brand within the FMCG and consumer goods category. They are looking for Senior Accounting Manager to lead a team and close the regional books.

The role:

  • Manage a Finance & Accounting team to perform daily operations including month-end closing and financial reporting for multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region
  • Lead and deliver monthly consolidated accounts whilst ensuring internal controls and compliance are met across different jurisdictions
  • Monitor regional cash flow situations and ensure treasury functions alongside relevant reporting
  • Implement and maintain group internal controls, liaise with auditors across the region
  • System enhancement and operating workflow improvement on a regional scale
  • Prepare tax computation and assist in tax planning for multiple countries
  • Lead and develop existing and newly hired subordinates across various regional offices

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder or above in Accounting, CPA Qualified Accountant
  • 15+ years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in a managerial position
  • Former experience in financial accounting with exposure to sizable ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and ability to enhance internal controls
  • Previous Retail, FMCG or Pharmaceutical exposure would be an added advantage
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Experience working in a regional role or managing multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region
