Senior Accountant

The Company:

Our client is an international law firm. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role requires to support finance team of Hong Kong internal and external financial accounting, reporting, tax and audit matters. It will report to Senior Finance Manager and lead two Assistant Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and review of trial balance
• Provide support and supervision to the AP team
• Assist in group, local statutory and internal audit
• Assist in corporate and partners' tax filing
• Assist in preparation of monthly budget holder reports
• Review the forecast and budget

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines
• CPA qualified
• Knowledge of HK tax system and audit standards
• Familiar with HK & UK SRA Accounts Rules
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is prefers
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
• Work experience in a global firm is an advantage
