Sales Manager (Food services)

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the food distribution industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer service.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, product knowledge, and market trends to effectively represent the company's offerings to clients.
  • Continuously assess and improve sales processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing necessary changes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experiences in sales, preferably in the food distribution industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Expert knowledge of the food distribution industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
