Sales Manager, Digital Media

Job description

Our client is a fast growing digital media company and they are seeking a dynamic Media Sales professional to join their team in Hong Kong.

As the Media Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients and agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize advertising sales opportunities.
  • Identify and target prospective clients, including both local and multinational corporations, advertising agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial and creative team, to develop compelling advertising solutions and proposals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on sales metrics, market trends, and revenue forecasts.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, with a proven track record of success in media, advertising and publishing industry.
  • Strong client development experience and network in industries such as Financial Services, Travel and Leisure, Retail, Lifestyle, Luxury Goods, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of the media landscape, including digital advertising, print, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze and interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese is required.
