Our client is an Australian Professional Service Group. The company is known for its work-life balance, flexible work culture and competitive compensation package. They are looking for a Regional Procurement Manager based in Hong Kong with further growth plans.

You will be operating as part of the Global Procurement team, in charge of the procurement function for the Hong Kong region and driving commercial improvements across APEA. As a Regional Procurement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide in-country sourcing services and support and ensure appropriate stakeholder management and vendor governance
• Vendor management and negotiation; Drive commercially effective outcomes with Hong Kong vendors
• Drive commercial improvements across APEA to assist in meeting Global cost targets
• Ensure vendors provide guaranteed quality delivery outcomes to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within Hong Kong to understand BU strategy and direction for proper Procurement support
• Act as the Relationship Manager as the escalation point for vendors in Hong Kong, managing and engaging key stakeholders in-process and escalations management.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree and have 10+ years of Procurement experience in a Regional/ Global role
• Experience in end-to-end procurement lifecycle management across Strategy, Source to Contract, Vendor Relationship Management etc.
• Great communication skills with experience in stakeholder and relationship management across multiple geographies
• Understanding of broader business context and translating into key priorities for Procurement to support
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze cost vs risk balances
• Understands risks and appropriate control options
• Excellent command of written & spoken English and Chinese
