Regional FP&A Manager, APAC (MNC FMCG)

We are supporting an international FMCG business in the search of a Regional FP&A Manager. This role will act as a strategic business partner to the regional business units, serving as the key contact point for finance matters. The Regional FP&A Manager will provide financial insights, support retail business operations, and strengthen internal controls to drive sustainable growth across the region.

Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to provide financial guidance and support decision‑making.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for regional markets.
  • Deliver insightful analysis on business performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Provide financial support for strategic projects, investments, and new business initiatives across the region.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support regional initiatives and projects, ensuring financial viability and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in FP&A roles, ideally within FMCG or multinational corporations.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Regional/ APAC market exposure and experience in managing cross‑border operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English and Cantonese.
  • Smart, presentable, and confident in engaging with senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
